Traveling Tips for Older Adults: Stay Safe and Enjoy the Journey!

Due to COVID-19, many people who want to travel have been feeling nervous and unsure. The Senior List found that 1 out of every 5 older adults felt hesitant to travel in 2023 because of COVID-19. But there are many ways to travel safely and confidently now. Keep reading to find out how!


Our class is tailored for independent older adults who want to learn how to reduce the risk of falling. We cover home hazards, safe footwear, vision’s role in falls, strength and balance exercises, and community mobility. The course is suitable for those who use a cane indoors, don’t need a wheelchair, and have no diagnosed cognitive impairment. Join us to stay safe, mobile, and independent as you age.
