Stay Active & Independent for Life (SAIL) is an evidence-based strength, balance, and fitness program designed for older adults. Classes combine aerobic activity, strength training, balance exercises, stretching, and falls prevention education. Participants attend one-hour sessions two or three times per week and receive guidance from trained instructors in a supportive group setting.
Regular participation can help you stay active, improve physical function, and maintain independence.
SAIL combines evidence-based exercise with practical education to help older adults stay healthy, active, and independent.
“The class got me exercising daily. Now I am more confident walking and going up and down stairs. It’s helping me continue to live independently.”
