It uses a curriculum developed by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and cuts your risk of developing type 2 diabetes in half. The program helps you make lasting changes, such as eating healthier, adding physical activity into your daily routine, and reducing stress.
We will be meeting on Floor 4. Lake Vermillion room.
There is street parking or there is a surface lot on 6th and Wabasha that is $6 for 2 hours of parking.

You must have a laptop, desktop, iPad, tablet or smart phone to participate in the class. You will also need to have a scale at home to weigh yourself weekly.
Once you are registered you will receive a welcome email, curriculum and Zoom invite to attend your meetings.
The final 8 classes are subject to date change but will be discussed with your coach one class begins.

The Diabetes Prevention Program is for people who want to avoid type 2 diabetes. It uses a curriculum developed by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and cuts your risk of developing type 2 diabetes in half. The program helps you make lasting changes, such as eating healthier, adding physical activity into your daily routine, and reducing stress.
Most Medicare and Medicaid plans are covering the costs of these programs, as well as some commercial insurance plans. For those without insurance coverage, contact class leader for more information.
informational sessions will be on Tuesday October 1st & again on Tuesday October 29th, from 2-3 pm. Need to only attend one.
