August is National Immunization Awareness Month

August brings awareness to how important vaccines are for people of all ages. Vaccines help prevent diseases and illnesses by protecting the person getting the vaccine and preventing the disease from spreading. Although no vaccine is 100% effective, it is the most successful and cost-effective public health tool for all people. Talk to your doctor today to learn more about keeping yourself and others protected with vaccinations.
